Lines, Angles, Lighting Effects, Size, Simplicity, Complexity, Bracketing, Comparison and Focal Points…all these come into play when photographing architecture. From small spaces to an entire city-line, photography can tell a story about the designer, builder and occupant.
There is a peaceful ease when photographing architecture since you don’t have to worry about it moving, changing, or trying to find the right “mood” while taking the photo. Only layout, lighting and time are the issues. Since this is true, I have no one to blame but myself if I don’t get it right! I enjoy this type of photography as an art form. I try to capture the essence that the designer, decorator and occupant are trying to convey. I am purposeful in finding the right angle, height and lighting to ensure I get the best photo.
From real estate to architectural photography, I’m available to ensure your building / area looks its very best and that your customers will be intrigued, as well.
